SPONSOR A CHILD / ADOPT ACHILD

Education Scheme

 

  1. In addition to imparting free basic primary education up to class V to economically weaker sections of our society, since1992, Nai Disha Free Education Society also gives financial aid to deserving students for continuation of their education beyond class V in various public schools of NOIDA.

 

  1. Most of these schools charge tuition fees ranging from Rs. 500/- to 1200/- p.m. based on the class up to 12th in addition to a lump-sum admission fees at an average of Rs. 4000/-. To partly meet the financial needs of such students, Nai Disha Free Education Society has been providing assistance so that these students could continue their education. For this purpose we collect funds under “Sponsor – a Child” scheme where in the sponsors pay Rs. 250/- to 400/- per month on annual basis.

 

  1. There is another scheme “Adopt a Child”. Under this scheme the sponsor will take full responsibility of the child which will include tuition fees, books, stationery, uniform and other miscellaneous expenditure for Classes 6 and above. They can monitor the progress of students and can attend his/her PTA meetings and be involved totally. This will cost around 10,000/- to 15,000/- per year depending on the class of the students and the school where he/she is studying.

 

  1. Only those students who score at least a minimum of 55% in Class 5 are eligible for sponsorship under these schemes. For continuation of financial help the score sheet of the students will be reviewed each year.

 

  1. This movement needs to be strengthened through sensitizing our society.  You can contribute even very small amounts towards this cause so that we can provide assistance to more number of students from the economically weaker sections of our society. All donations will get tax exemption under Section 80 G of Income Tax Act 1961.
