The school is recognized by the National Open School, an autonomous organization of the
Deptartment of Education, HRD, Government of India. The school is authorized to teach uptil class 8 - though at the present time classes are held till the 5th standard. This is due to infrastructure constraints.
The exam papers are approved by the National Open School - they also provide certificates to students passing out of class5.
Nai Disha has 410 students on roll - classes are divided into morning and afternoon sessions. Morning sessions are from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, while the afternoon session is from 1pm to 5pm.
There are 18 teachers and staff on the payroll - they are responsible for the smooth functioning of the school.
Mrs Raj Bhanot is the Principal of the school. Rather generously, she volunteers for this post.
